Morgan’s Story
My name is Morgan. I have been with my husband for almost 15 years and we have been married for almost eight. After we had been married for two years we decided to try to grow our family.

At the heart of our infertility story, is a love story. It began in the summer of 2012 at the tender ages of 22 and 23 years old. Our wedding took place in May of 2015, and it was one of the best days of our life. A year passed, and by then we were very ready to have a little one of our own.
Like many infertile couples, my husband and I ended up at a fertility specialist after the requisite “one year” of trying to get pregnant on our own. We were considered young for the infertility world, my husband 31 and me 29. Our first fertility doctor did not see any reason why we weren’t getting pregnant on our own, so I got the ever-popular diagnosis of “unexplained female factor infertility”.
My name is Michelle. I married my high school sweetheart. I am a school-based occupational therapist, working at a private school for children with disabilities. I have two daughters, ages 11 and 9. And I am infertile.
We want to thank all our family, friends, and our growing herd for their support in honoring our sweet daughter Ella Rose for the 2nd Annual Bear Drive. We were able to collect 117 bears and 1 elephant!
There are many lessons that I have learned through our journey to finally have our rainbow twins. It was a long, hard road. My heart aches for those who are having trouble trying to conceive, have had miscarriages, stillborns, or infant losses. I wish we weren’t a part of this horrible club, but we are. With April Fool’s Day approaching, I encourage everyone that has not been through these horrific experiences to THINK BEFORE YOU POST!
In memory of Ella Rose Rauch, It Takes a Herd is proud to host the 2nd Annual Ella Rose Teddy Bear Drive benefitting the Virtua Hospital Foundation.
