Grant applications are now being accepted

We are very happy to announce that applications are now open for our 1st Ella Rose Memorial Grant.

It Takes a Herd is offering a grant for couples who suffer from infertility or need to go through a surrogacy journey. Below are the criteria for the grant. All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply.

• Applicants must have a medical diagnosis of infertility. Exceptions are made for single applicants and same-sex couples.
• Types of services we will help support:
  • Genetic testing
  • Egg/Sperm/Embryo Donations
  • Egg Freezing
  • Fertility treatments and medication
  • Surrogacy fees

Requirements

• Household income less than $225,000. 
• Must be legal US residents and under the care of an accredited fertility facility
• Must have adequate living arrangements (lease or own a residence)
• Must be employed unless medically unable to do so. In such a case, one partner must be employed.
• Must have basic health insurance. Sufficient prenatal care must be covered.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• You will be required to sign a media release form giving It Takes a Herd permission to use your story (included with the application.) Photos may also be posted on our website and social media platforms with first names and locations only.

The awarded grant amount is up to $3000.00
